The Stirling Knights Senior Men this season have shown that they can be more than a handful in the National League. With 4 Junior Men and the oldest player in the squad at 25.  Coached by Cory McCabe the Seniors this season, reeled off some terrific wins vs eventual National League Champions St Mirren, as well as overturning a 17 half time point deficit to Edinburgh Uni. The main lessons learned for the men will entirely surround consistency in starting or indeed finishing games.

McCabe on his team; "We made some brilliant strides at times this season. As our results show, we were competitive in almost all but 3 fixtures this season - with most of our losses 10 points or less. This says an awful lot about the character and buy-in I've had from my players to believe in our style and try to develop individually and as a team. We found an incredible balance and chemistry with our older guys like Dan, Matt, G and Connor helping to look after the young guys and newer faces. I'm massively grateful for all their hard work and helping me to be allowed to grow as a coach too."

The Senior Men provide a terrific platform in which younger players can be exposed to, and compete in Scotland's top division. Youngsters Ruari Doherty, Lucas Hamill, Shaun Craig and Louis Sullivan all contributed massively to another season of progression. Steering the younger players were Cpt Dan Chok, Matt Dick, Connor Rankin, Calum Doherty and new additions Ben Chok and Darren Leitch. The club is happy to see Lewis 'Milky' Nairn making his return after a horror training injury midway through the season.

The club will also be greatly indebted to Gergo Jenei who is returning home to Hungary after his long spell with the Knights. Club Chair Pete Duncan on Gergo's contribution; "I was in charge when we first brought Gergo to the club and on behalf of the Knights I want to wish him well as he returns home. Gergo is the complete gentleman and an excellent role model for our younger kids. He has been ever present and has always offered a level head to compliment our young core players."

Game Knights
